Liteon, started as a developer and manufacturer of LED products, has now built the first complete green energy technology supply chain in Taiwan. In line with the exhibition’s theme of “LEDs are dynamic”, Lite-On will exhibit a complete series of high efficiency and energy saving LED applications including notebook, home appliances, game boxes, and indoor lighting, creating a new environmentally friendly and energy saving lifestyle based on LEDs.
LEDs, which feature small size, cool lighting, energy saving and long operation life, plays an important role in green technology applications. Lite-On’s focus is to extend LEDs into every corner of everyday life. In the 2009 exhibition, Lite-On will show several applications using LED devices, such as notebooks with LED backlights, LED downlights, and LED light tubes for refrigerators. The notebook on display combines advanced LED technologies including large-area uniform light intensity control and RGB color mixing. Different from typical single color applications such as logo and button light, Lite-On uses advanced full-color and white LED technologies to customize and individualize applications, further proving its technology leadership in innovative LED products and applications.
As a special event, Lite-On will host a Q&A session with Wang Yueh to allow visitors to understand the role LEDs can play in everyday life, their ability to save energy and and their applicability to green technology.
Lite-On’s LED products also include high efficacy lighting fixtures with high power LEDs, LED backlight modules for LCD displays, high NTSC LED backlights, LED indicators for home appliances, full-color LED modules for notebooks, high speed photo-couplers for handsets, high resolution printers and game boxes, industrial automation, finger motion sensors, high resolution barcodes, IrDA, ambient sensors, and proximity sensors. Lite-On is confident that its wide-ranging LED technology capability can fully satisfy global customers’ demands and requirements for 4C products.
