2. Storage

ThedstoragedambientdfordthedLEDsdshoulddnotdexceedd30°Cdtemperaturedord70%drelativedhumidityd.dItdisdrecommend-
eddthatdLEDsdoutdofdtheirdoriginaldpackagingdareduseddwithindthreedmonths.Fordextendeddstoragedoutdofdtheirdoriginald
packaging,ditdisdrecommendeddthatdthedLEDsdbedstoreddindadsealeddcontainerdwithdappropriateddesiccantdordindaddes-
iccatordwithdnitrogendambient.d
3. Cleaning

Usedalcohol-baseddcleaningdsolventsdsuchdasdisopropyldalcoholdtodcleandthedLEDsdifdnecessary.

4. Lead Forming & Assembly
Duringdleaddforming,dthedleadsdshoulddbedbentdatdadpointdatdleastd3mmdfromdthedbasedofdLEDdlens.dDodnotdusedthed
basedofdthedleadframedasdadfulcrumdduringdforming.Leaddformingdmustdbeddonedbeforedsoldering,datdnormaldtem-
perature.DuringdassemblydondPCB,dusedminimumdclinchdforcedpossibledtodavoiddexcessivedmechanicaldstress.

5. Soldering
Whendsoldering,dleavedadminimumdofdd2mmdclearancedfromdthedbasedofdthedlensdtodthedsolderingddpoint.dDippingdthed
lensdintodthedsolderdmustdbedavoided.

DodnotdapplydanydexternaldstressdtodthedleaddframedduringdsolderingdwhiledthedLEDdisdatdhighdtemperature.
